Tour Rules and Guidelines

The Schneider Museum of Art warmly welcomes groups to explore and enjoy our exhibitions. To help ensure a safe, respectful, and enriching experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all teachers, chaperones, and students review the following guidelines prior to your visit.

Museum Guidelines

  • Please do not touch the artwork or lean on the gallery walls.
  • Maintain a distance of at least 2 feet from all artwork and pedestals.
  • Food and beverages are not permitted in the galleries.
  • Backpacks, large purses, coats, and similar items must be stored on the hooks near the restrooms.
  • Running or rough play is not allowed in the museum.
  • Use indoor voices at all times.
  • Please raise your hand to ask questions or participate in discussions.
  • Students must remain with their assigned groups at all times. Instructors and chaperones are expected to stay with and actively supervise their group.

We appreciate your cooperation. Groups or individuals who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave the museum. Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming environment for all.
