Join the SMA for a hands-on scenic painting workshop with artist Gabriel Barrera aka ScenicG.
Scenic painting is the art of creating large-scale visual environments for theater, film, and themed spaces—transforming blank surfaces into textured stone walls, realistic wood grain, sweeping landscapes, and more. In this workshop, you’ll learn essential techniques used by professional scenic artists to bring stage and screen worlds to life.
Whether you’re a theater enthusiast, visual artist, or curious beginner, this is a unique opportunity to work alongside a seasoned industry pro and explore the magic behind the scenes.
