Hands-on Art Activities

Join us for art projects, inspired by Masami Teraoka’s triptychs and Zeina Barakeh’s process of stop-motion animation.

Community Triptych (Marion Ady Room 202)

In the painting studio, we will have a large community triptych project, where participants can paint an image in response to the prompt: What are you grateful for?

Small triptych cutouts will be available as a take-home activity.

Stop-Motion Animation (Marion Ady Room 101)

We will also explore stop-motion animation where people can construct a character to move through a scene and create a short animation.

In the Museum:

Parental Advisory: Please visit our website for a preview of the exhibition content. https://sma.sou.edu/exhibitions/whats-at-stake/

Take a Tour

There will also be family-friendly tours and mindfulness tools to accompany the intense exhibit.
