Participate in hands-on arts and exploration activities to engage with the works on view at SMA.
In the SMA Courtyard:
Hands-on Art Activities
Join us and make sun prints (cyanotypes) in the courtyard of the Schneider Museum, inspired by artist Tarrah Krajnak’s work with photographic negatives. See her work and learn more about her process by visiting our current exhibit Join us for art projects, inspired by our current exhibition PACING inside the museum.
What to Bring
We will have a variety of surfaces for participants to use, including a range of sizes. Bring any materials you think would create a cool texture or outline on your piece! These might include plants, sticks, stencils, toys, doilies, utensils, jewelry… let your imagination run wild! We will have some materials for you to work with as well. What is a cyanotype?
