Exhibition Statement

The Schneider Museum of Art’s 2015 winter exhibition, curated by Museum Director Erika Leppmann, featured work by the Southern Oregon University Department of Creative Arts Faculty. Artists included David Bithell, Cody Bustamante, Miles Inada, Peg Sjogren, Robin Strangfeld and visiting professors Summer Ventis, Brooks Dierdorff, Ben Waterman, and Rene Allen. The works presented by this dynamic group of art faculty featured a wide range of approaches and disciplines. While the exhibition was on view, the Museum presented talks by the participating artists, readings by Creative Writing faculty Kasey Mohammed, Robert Arellano, and Craig Wright, and a lecture by Warren Hedges.
