Exhibition Statement

The Cross-Currents exhibition included major works by established masters and emerging stars, produced using traditional printmaking techniques as well as newer photographic and digital mediums. Together they revealed the vitality of the contemporary print movement and helped to trace the cross-cultural fertilization which is shaping new work in the graphic arts at the beginning of the 21st century.
