Contemporary European Photography

Exhibition Statement

The Contemporary European Photography exhibition was a part of a cultural exchange between the Schneider Museum of Art and the Galerie Vrais Reves in Lyon, France. The Schneider Museum and the Southern Oregon University Art Department coordinated with the Galerie to send a body of current American photography to be exhibited in France, and in return the Galerie was sending the museum a selection of current European photography. The museum sent the exhibition, Fabrications: Identities in Contemporary American Photography, that was previously on view at the Schneider, and featured artists Kris Mills, John Priola, Dillon McDaniel, Dinh Q. Le, and Donna Bourret.
