Rogue Valley Collections:
Contemporary Work

Exhibition Statement

Every two years, the museum organized an exhibition of art from private collections in the Rogue Valley. In the past we have presented some extraordinary work which reflects the taste and interest of local art collectors. Following that tradition, we were pleased to present a broad range of contemporary art focusing on a variety of media including ceramics, paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs. Featured in the exhibition were works by Marsha Burns, Mary Frank, David Hockney, John Paul Jones, Nathan Oliveira, Richard Shaw, Olivia Parker, and William T. Wiley, as well as a selection of new acquisitions to the museum’s permanent collection.
