Exhibition Statement

Selections from the Rene and Veronica di Rosa Collection capture the humor and iconoclastic verve of contemporary Northern California artists. Included in the exhibition were works by William Allen, Jeremy Anderson, Robert Arneson, Colleen Barry, James Barsness, David Best, Robert Brady, Joan Brown, Squeak Carnwath, Bruce Conner, Roy de Forest, Viola Frey, Tom Holland, Robert Hudson, Sherry Lamanet, Peter Saul, Richard Shaw, and William Wiley. The collection demonstrated an extraordinary variety in the uses of various media and styles of expression. Rob Wilson of the Redding Museum organized this exhibition.
